The best Epson printer for home use we’ve tested is the Epson WorkForce Pro WF-7840. While the WorkForce line is designed for use in the office the all-in-one printer is flexible enough to be used by families. The scanner comes with a number of impressive options, such as a large flatbed scanner and a built-in fax machine, and an automatic document feeder that can do double-sided scanning. Produced photos look a little gritty, but overall, they’re decently detailed with impressively accurate colors. While the cartridge system is only okay, the cost-per-print is great for color and black-only documents, and for photographs, but the cost can add up quickly if you print frequently in color. It prints at a high speed and, although the first page can take a while to print, following pages are much faster.

It’s not the best choice, as it’s not equipped with very high page yields, so you might need to replace the cartridges often if you have to print pages regularly. There are cartridges with high yields for both color and black that should last longer. It does not support Bluetooth however there are plenty of other options to choose from, including Ethernet and Wi-Fi. Additionally, it is able to print directly from USB flash drives. It’s a great printer for use at home, and comes with many wonderful features.
